Safflower Gold® is our natural blend (with added vitamins, minerals and amino acids) for Conures, Cockatiels and Lovebirds is the gourmet fortified bird food without sunflower seeds or peanuts. Safflower Gold® does not contain artificial preservatives, flavors and chemical colors. Instead, Higgins® uses colors sourced from seeds, spices, and vegetables. Safflower Gold® is enriched with balanced omega-3 & 6 fatty acids to support the immune system. Protected probiotics are also added to promote digestive health and immunity by supporting the delivery of more active, beneficial bacteria to the intestinal tract.

Feeding Guidelines:
Fill your pet bird’s food container with as much food as it will consume in a 24 hour period. Usually for conures, cockatiels, lovebirds and other small hookbill birds, the portion may range between ¼ to ½ cup of food per bird. Adjust the portions to meet your bird’s specific dietary needs. Supplement this diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Remove uneaten food and seed hulls and clean food dish before refilling with new food. Always maintain fresh drinking water for your pet bird.
